Not only has NAJ’s RTO Summit West this week at Marina del Rey, California been a sellout for months, last week the number of tour operators who have signed up to attend the event’s day long business appointment session on March 9passed the 100 mark. “This underscores the fact that the RTO Summit West has become an integral part of the business calendar for both the DMOs and travel suppliers who come to the event,” observed Jake Steinman, founder and CEO of the NAJ Group, adding, “the ratio guarantees a better than a one-and-a-half-to-one ratio of suppliers to buyers.”
The RTO Summit West has evolved to the point, Steinman said, that its first day—a day of presentations and discussions—which is tagged e Tourism International, has become a must-attend for tour and travel sales and marketing professionals who need to become proficient at digital techniques and applications.
There are three RTO Summits. In addition to the RTO Summit West, the RTO Summit East takes place May 15-16 in New York City. And Orlando serves as the venue for an RTO Summit in September. For up-to-date program and registration information, visit www.rtosummit.com.
