Visitors to America’s heartland are soon to have yet another reason to visit the region with the opening later this year of the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station, the centerpiece of a $187 million family complex slated to open later this year. The aquarium is expected to house 13,000 aquatic animals, including more than 60 sharks and rays in a 250,000-gallon tank.
